Sunny Hill is a five-member South Korean co-ed group currently under LOEN Entertainment.
They officially debuted as a trio consisting of Janghyun, Seung Ah and Jubee in 2007 under Vitamin Entertainment. They released their debut digital single ‘Love Letter’ on October 5th, 2007. One month later, they released their second digital single titled ‘Winter Story’. On March 17th, 2008, the trio released a song for ‘The Last Scandal of My Life’ OST. Three months later, they released a song for the ‘리틀맘 스캔들’ OST. After months of releasing songs for drama’s, Sunny Hill officially released their third digital single title ‘2008 Is My Summer’ on July 3rd, 2008. On April 8th, 2009, the trio released their fourth digital single titled ‘Coming Soon…!!!’, which managed to win a rookie award on Cyworld.
After releasing their fourth digital single, the group went on a musical hiatus for over a year and eventually switched companies to NEGA Network, home of Brown Eyed Girls. Upon switching companies, the trio became a four-member group with the addition of Kota. On August 20th, 2010, Narsha of Brown Eyed Girls released the single ‘Mama Mia’, which featured Sunny Hill members Kota, Seung Ah and Jubee.
A few months later, Sunny Hill unexpectedly left NEGA Network and joined LOEN Entertainment, IU. Upon entering their new company, LOEN Entertainment trainee Misung was added to the group. Now with a new member and company, the group released a song for ‘The Best Love Part. 3’ OST. home of solo-singer
On May 26th, 2011, Sunny Hill released concept photos for their first official comeback of 2011. On May 29th and May 31st, music video teasers featuring Ga In and IU were released, which built major interest in their comeback. On June 2nd, 2011, Sunny Hill officially released the “Midnight Circus” music video and EP. Promotions for “Midnight Circus” began the following day on Music Bank
